The grandmom of all PTC sites WordLinx looks younger than many others. This site has been online over 5 years, and as far as I know was the first one of it's kind.
Like all other PTC-s (paid-to-click sites) WordLinx pays members to visit advertiser's websites. Most links are worth $0.01 but some are worth $0.02, and some $0.005. Ads are available when an advertiser pays for them. That's why it is recommended to visit the site many times a day. Sometimes WordLinx sends also paid e-mails. E-mails haven't a timer but they are worth $0.01 each.
For every referral who joins and makes some clicks, the referring member is rewarded with $0.05. Why I am so sure about it: ClixSense really is an advertising site, like a Paid-To-Click site should be.
There aren't any self-ads, like "advertise here", "upgrade now", and definitely not "purchase referrals". It can't be, because ClixSense does NOT sell referrals, and it also does not pay anyone for his referrals' clicks.
Ads displayed on ClixSense are real, purchased by real advertisers. It means, the site has enough money to pay its members, and will probably stay for years. It makes ClixSense sustainable. That's why ClixSense is the PTC site with strongest longevity factor. There aren't any risks.
What possibilities are for a memeber to earn money with ClixSense? He has to be active himself, very active. At first, he has to log in to his account not once a day but many times, even every hour, if possible, because due the huge member base the ads are expiring quickly, and new ads are appearing often. A member can earn from a cent up to 5 dollars a click. However, I have to admit i've never seen a 5 dollar link myself but couple of days ago there was a 15-cent-link.
ClixSense is free to join and free to earn. Upgrading is not required but I am a premium member on ClixSense. To become premium for a year costs only $10 but it is very very rewarding. The first ting a newly upgraded member will see are hundreds of links, ready for him to click.
The amount of the links depends much on the country where the member lives, because a lot of ads are country targeted. For example, it hasn't much sense to offer real estate in USA to members who are living in Europe, Asia, Australia or Africa, and vice versa.
ClixSense is an American program, and there are lots of ads for Americans, so an American freshly upgraded member has about 500 links to click immediately. The others will not get SO much, I remember I got about 270 when I upgraded. Anyway, I earned $2.70 of $10 I used for upgrade back in the same evening.
A premium member of ClixSense gets also more ads in the future. If there are six links available, three or even four are for premium members only. If there are only two, both can be premium ads.
But the most important reason for become premium on ClixSense is their referral system. Free members get payd for referrals too - but only once. A free member gets only a cent for every referral, a premium member gets 10 cents. A free member doesn't get anything when his referral upgrades. Premium member gets affiliate commissions through five levels! He gets $2 for every upgraded member he refers himself, and $1 for each upgraded member on levels 2 - 4, and again $2 for upgraded referrals on level 5. In fact, ClixSense is an MLM for upgraded members. That's the real secret of making money with ClixSense.
ClixSense pays via check only, and charges $3 from every check it sends out. That's why every international member has to turn to his bank to find out the fund crediting conditions. After I lost over a half of my first payment (it was $15, minus $3 the fee, and ca $5 to the bank, so in fact I got $7only) I decided to rise my payout to $100, and perhaps I shall rise it to $250 in the future.
I haven't reached $100 yet, because I've spent many times my ClixSense earnings for advertising. ClixSense is a responsive site, and it is really worth to advertise there - especially when you are promoting a free program. I hadn't so much luck with a paid one, though.
Anyway, ClixSense is worth to join, worth to upgrade, and worth to advertise - free programs, of course. ClixSense will not disappear overnight, it seems to be one of the most sustainable PTC sites online.
