Use traffic exchanges to show your free ads to thousands

I've told here about traffic exchanges couple of times but suddenly I understood there may be people who don't know what a traffic exchange is!
To put it short and simple, traffic exchange is a free advertising program where a member has to view for a certain time (usually 10 - 20 seconds) the websites of another members in order to show them his own sites. Viewing other members' sites is called "surfing". So it works: I'm watching your site, you're watching mine:-))
Yes, this method of advertising may be time consuming but it's simple... and best of all - it's FREE! Nobody has to pay for it, if he doesn't want to (most traffic exchanges are offering upgrade options though, and also the option to buy advertising credits for people who are in hurry and have more money than time).
A reader, a new co-member on Traffic Era asked me lately, do traffic exchanges really work. He was concerned, people only want to get their advertising credits and don't pay any attention to te websites they are clicking on.
No doubt, there may be users of that kind on every traffic exchange - but they are in minority. It has to be so, because I'm getting signups from traffic exchanges... I got a signup yesterday for a downline club and three for another!
To be honest I have to admit, four signups a day doesn't happen very often - my average is three or four a week. Anyway, imagine, four signups for free, I never have to spend a single penny to get them. That's why traffic exchanges are so great for people with limited advertising budget. Using them the right way may add up to hundreds and hundreds hits to a website daily, and hundreds and hundreds of hits mean signups or sales.
The more a member surfs traffic exchanges the more times he can show his own website. There are also ways to increase your amount of advertising credits for free. Some (best!) traffic exchanges are offering team surfing. The teams who are surfing most are getting extra credits, which are divided between the members of this team.
For example: on Traffic Era (read more about this great marketing community in my previous post: Traffic Era - much more than just a traffic exchange) I'm belonging to the team 001 Google Ranked Us - an ambitious name but it's true... in fact, Google ranked some of our team members already:-))
Well, every team on Traffic Era takes part of so-called "clock races". The best four teams (who collect more clocks, i.e. bonus points) of every race are rewarded with extra credits, and every member of the team gets an equal part of the amount. That's why 001 Google Ranked Us and all other teams are interested in active members/surfers only.
Let's say, a team member doesn't surf for a while... he thinks it doesn't make any harm if he isn't active for couple of days. He couldn't be more wrong.
That way he lets the other team members work for him and earn free traffic for his website, and it is not fair. If somebody wants to enjoy the benefits of belonging to a successful team, has to give his part too - otherwise he will lose his membership.
Of course everybody understands when a team member is away because of serious reasons like illness, internet connection problems etc., or he just takes a vacation - if he a honest and valuable team member his membership will always be restored!
There is more about teams on Traffic Era and especially about the team 001 Google Ranked Us on our team leader's blog. Team leader's name is Chris, and the blog is Making Sense Out of the World. There he writes about some more things also which are making sense out of the world... so why not to bookmark this blog?

Traffic Era - much more than just a traffic exchange

Traffic Era is a traffic exchange site which belongs to Logiscape Technologies. It is a sister site of Hitpulse, ts25 and Traffic Pods. I have to admit, I'm really in love with it, and in a minute I shall tell you, why.
Everybody who joins Traffic Era will become a part of a social network. He can join (or create) groups and write blog posts - both highly recommended. He can join splash page network and even build his splash pages. And first of all - he can get tons (I really mean it, TONS) of traffic to his pages, when he uses Traffic Era the right way.
There are tutorials on Traffic Era page, in the members' area but for a newbie they may be quite confusing at first. That's why I decided to make it a little bit easier and explain our local Traffic Era slang a bit. Here we go:

TRAFFIC ERA: SHORT TUTORIAL FOR BEGINNERS

Step 1. Join Traffic Era.

Step 2. Personalize your account - go to "Account settings" and load up your picture (or something else, if you're pic shy).

Step 3. Insert your interests.

Step 4. Browse "groups", find these you like, and join. There are hundreds and hundreds of groups. You can start a new group yourself too.

Step 5. The most important step - become active. Try to surf enough to collect at least a set of clocks (10 clocks make a set) daily but the more the better. That way you can catch the attention of teamleaders. Teams are interested in active surfers only.
Clocks on Traffic Era are a kind of bonus points. First set gives you 5 tokens, all others - 10 tokens. You can trade tokens for credits on the marketplace later. For example: at the moment I'm writing here I can purchase 8100 credits for 480 tokens.
500 top surfers are rewarded with extra tokens on every Sunday. For example: I'm at the moment on 207th place, and it would give me 588 extra tokens tonight but the member who ranks 1st will get 1000. It's all free traffic;-)

Step 6. Join a team. After becoming active you soon will get invitations to join a team. Don't join the first one who invites you, study them before you decide. Click on "teams" to see the best 25. If the team ranks in top 25 it means, it is able to win clock races.
Clock races on Traffic Era is the best way to gain extra traffic. There is always a race going on. The next race begins as soon the previous one ends. At the top of team list is the super clock always running. For example: the super clock says, stop the clock when your team gets: 740 clocks. When a team collects 740 clocks the race is over, and the first four teams will get bonus credits.
Let's say, the best team got 65,300 credits. Every team can have maximum 25 members. 65,300 divided to 25... where is my calculator... seems to be 2612 credits! Free traffic again;-)

Step 7. Think on your future. Yes, you can get a lot of traffic as a free (silver) member but an upgraded member gets much more! That's why upgrading on Traffic Era is important.
Of course you can always upgrade for money. For example, a month of gold membership on Traffic Era costs $19, it's a reasonable price for so much traffic... but there is a back door too, and it's free:-))
If you want to upgrade for free you have to purchase logibucks first for your time credits. Logibucks are a kind of toy money inside of Logiscape network. For example: a newbie silver member can purchase two logibucks a week, for 10000 time credits each. 10000 time credits are quite easy to get, even from surfing only, and there are more ways too, like referring and sponsoring. And: as stated above, Logiscape network has three other traffic exchanges. Every member can collect logibucks on Hitpulse, ts25 and Traffic Pods too, and transfer them between his accounts from one site to another!
If you have collected enough logibucks for your upgrade (for example, 35 for platinum) you can use them and keep your $19 in your pocket!

Step 8. Your pesonal value. On your profile page you can see your personal value (PV) for current week, and your lifetime PV. There are 3 components: surfing, referring and sponsoring. The most important for your reputation is surfing, but referring and sponsoring help you rank higher.
Referring means here the hits your referral link gets. Display your referral link on every other traffic exchange you're in, and especially on other Logiscape sites (you are surfing them to get extra logibucks anyway), on paid-to-read sites, on paid-to-click sites with free click exchange etc., and see your PV growing. Two hits = one credit.
Sponsoring means, you have referred an active(!) member, i.e. your referral's weekly PV has be at least 300, then you gain 150 PV next week (as a silver member).

Step 9. Your first star. You'll get a star when your lifetime PV is 100 000. Having stars is benefitial for example when purchasing logibucks. The members with a star can get two for 10000 credits instead of one:-) The more stars you'll gain on your way the more benefitial it becomes...

Step 10. Loyalty points and club membership. For every month you are upgraded member you'll get loyalty points. Gold members are getting 2500 and platinum members 5000 points. Of course, there are huge time credit bonuses coming with loyalty points, but most important is: after you have collected 25000 loyalty points, you may get an invitation to become a club member - the highest rank of upgrade.
It isn't 100% sure you will get it, though. Only the site administrators can send a club invitation, and there are only 100 club membership spots over entire network. If there are more eligible members than spots available, the invites will go first to the members that have waited the longest. So if you once get the invitation, don't hesitate: first-come, first-served.

Hopefully this short 10-steps-guide will help to understand Traffic Era better.
If you are a new member of Traffic Era, go now to the site tutorials to learn more. If you aren't a member yet but want to get huge traffic to your sites, click on the banner below and join. You will not regret, I promise:-)

NeoBux pays... and pays... and pays... and pays!!!

Another paid-to-click site I made good experience with is NeoBux. With no doubt it's one of the best PTC sites on the net right now.
What makes this site so special? NeoBux was the first one who offered instant payments. It was a revolution in paid-to-click industry. Just request, confirm, and in less than a minute you'll receive an AlertPay/PayPal e-mail: NeoBux paid you!
NeoBux was also the first who started to rent referrals instead of selling them. Renting a referral for a month costs 30c for a free (standard) member and 20c for an upgraded (gold) member. It is benefitial to a client (clicker/advertiser) and the site too, a win-win situation. From point of view of a clicker, he can replace his inactive referral. He even has not to wait a whole month - he can recycle each referral any time he wants to, and replacing costs 8c only.
NeoBux is only renting referrals that have clicked at least 10 advertisements in the past 5 days. It also has an extremely smart weapon to keep members active: every day a member has not clicked the ads he will not earn from his referrals too. The referral clicks will be calculated based on the clicks the member made on the previous day. It makes even a laziest member with the largest referral base to grasp his mouse.
The fastest, easiest and cheapest way to keep active referrals is using auto-pay. A member who wants to use it has to transfer some money to his NeoBux account. Activating autopay extends the next payment date for referrals. On the first click each referral makes per day, the member who rented him pays to keep him/her for an extra day. That way the less active ones will be sorted out with time, and the renting member saves 10% too.
For a free member minimum 4 clicks a day are guaranteed, for a gold member - 9. A smart neobuxer checks many times a day and usually will rewarded for it with some extra clicks;-) It depends on advertisers, though.
Now to the most important thing: payments. NeoBux pays via Alertpay and PayPal, via PayPal there is a tiny fee, though. The first payment is only $2, the next is $3, then $4 and so on until $10. The small $2 first payment is extremely newbie-friendly. This way even the members who haven't built their downline, and who haven't enough money to rent referrals can get their money faster.

Candy for payment proof lovers: there are two this time:-)
I was paid via AlertPay and PayPal

Enough said. NeoBux has over 2 million happy members. 2 million people can't be wrong!

Does anybody need a 100% FREE webpage?

I did, until I found out that EVERYBODY who has a g-mail account can create a webpage for free. There aren't any hosting fees either, these pages are hosted on Google servers for FREE! Every g-mail user gets up to 100MB of space for his pages.
All you have to do is to
1) sign up to a g-mail account here http://www.google.com/intl/en/about.html (if you haven't one already);
2) go to http://www.pages.google.com/
3) and start creating your page using Google Page Creator!
The process is very easy, everybody who is able to write a blog should be able to make his own googlepage too. There is a good "about" section also, which (at least in my opinion) explains everything very clearly.
You can choose between various templates. You can insert links. You can insert pictures. You can change fonts and colors. You can preview your page. You can publish your page with one single mouseclick. Your url will look like http://yoursitename.googlepages.com
Don't wait any longer, your 100MB are waiting for you!
P.S. If you wish to see my first creation, go to my profile - I added it as "My webpage". It is a review of a program I'm promoting.

TE Toolbox and my first splash pages

Traffic exchange experts are saying, it's better to use splash pages than original pages on traffic exchange sites.
For those who don't know what a splash page is - according SearchSOA.com it's an initial web site page used to capture the user's attention for a short time as a promotion or lead-in to the site home page.
A splash page is loading quickly. Most traffic exchanges have 10 - 15 second timers. During this time a surfer has to understand what the site is offering. I.e., the splash page has to go right to the point.
Traffic Exchange Toolbox is a great splash page creator. It's free to use (when one want's more he can upgrade any time), there's no need to buy a domain, pay for hosting, buy scripts etc.
On TE Toolbox everybody can add created pages to the rotator, and everybody can see the stats. It's important, because that way an user can find out which splash pages are making more click throughs, and improve or delete the not effective ones. I guess I will delete the first splash page I ever made. Next two are performing better.
Dear reader, feel free to take a look at the second and third splash page I made in my life. Perhaps you can give me some advices;-)
Below is a link to the splash page I made for a MLM program called Freebie Force. I tried to make it as funny as possible (I have a solid squeeze page for it too but it is made by profis and therefore not a subject of this post):

http://www.tetoolbox.com/splash/4905/

The splash page for My Power Mall I tried to make as classical-looking as possible:

http://www.tetoolbox.com/splash/4908/

On the Freebie Force splash page the text is a bit too small but I couldn't do anything about it. If I'd made it bigger it were too big for the screen of my laptop. I wanted to make it to fit.
There are funny images on this page. TE Toolbox offers over 6000 clip art images, and they are free to use for everybody. It is also possible to upload an image from the web, as I did for My Power Mall splash page.
TE Toolbox is easy to use (I can say that after making my third page LOL!) but at the first time I had some problems, though. I looked for help and found a great tutorial video on Tim Linden's blog. Tim Linden owns TE Toolbox and StartXchange, which has over 38,000 members, delivered traffic since 2001 and worth to join (if you aren't a member already!). I also recommend to sign up to Tim's blog, or at least to bookmark it. It is very (I really mean it, VERY) informative.
OK, enough said. I better go and make some splash pages more!

How to create a payment proof

If you really want to promote something, it's sometimes benefitial to add a payment proof. There are so many sceptics nowdays. And much, much more cheaters!
About a year ago I tried to find a good payment proof creating tutorial, which would be understandable for everybody, incl. a newbie online like me. I failed. I did understand, though, I have to create a screenshot (what the heck is a screenshot?) and then I have to host it somewhere (for Heaven's sake, tell me, where!).
There was an additional problem with banners. There are sites which don't allow their members to use banner codes from their site because it eats their bandwidth. They are saying: "Please host the banner on your own webspace, thanks", or "Please download the banner you wish to use to your own webhosting to save our bandwidth," or even "You MUST download the following image and upload it to your web site to display the banner on your web site." Thanks so much, I would if you'd tell me HOW to do it!
OK, to make it short - I've found the solution on a forum of a PTC site. The site turned out to be a scam and doesn't exist anymore but the information I've got there was/is valuable enough to share it. In fact, creating a screenshot it's easy like 1-2-3.

1)Open the page you want to print, FE an e-mail from PayPal.
2)Press "Print Screen" on our keyboard. It's a button PrtSc/SysRq, and it's located on the top in the right corner.
3)Now open Paint - (Start>All Programs>Accessories>Paint). It may be some other image editing tool also but I'm always using Paint because it's so easy.
4)Either press "ctrl-v" or click "edit>Paste".
5)Adjust it the way you like, FE cover the personal information you do not want to be shown online, like your e-mail address etc., using a brush.
6)If ready, save the image by clicking "File>Save" or "ctrl-s" in My Documents>My Pictures.
7)Upload it to the web. There are many sites for free image hosting on the web. I've used Photobucket so far. Create an account, if you haven't one. Create an album, name it as you like, FE "Proofs", and then in "Upload Images&Video" pick "from my computer". Click "choose files". A new window will appear, where you'll see the pictures stored on your computer. When you click on the right picture it uploads automatically.
8)When ready, you'll see 4 URLs below your uploaded screenshot, incl. the direct URL and IMG code URL, and these both are exactly what you need. When you insert the direct URL on a forum or a website just add: "Click here to see the payment proof". You'll need it also when you're uploading banners somewhere.
For payment proofs people usually prefer the IMG code URL (will look like ) - it produces the picture.

Good luck with payment proofs and banners!
